Ah this is one hell of the game that gives me the lust to crave for more whenever after hitting the exit button from multiplayer after 5 minutes. The first game that gave me that feel would be counter strike which is like almost 10 years ago. I started playing CS during i was like 10.
COD4 , storyline based on war in iraq again. As usual, current shooting game all based on that theme anyway =/ *I mean c'mon, what else? duh*
So the single player is utterly short, I finish on the day I bought this game. But its utterly fun and challenging. Its no uber pro-tactical shooter where u need to follow the command of ur superior like tamed hounds or no Doom-ish rambo 1 vs 1000000. Its in the middle of it. U work with a team in single-player, but its a fast-paced shooter at the same time. The perfect combo ~!
Unlike CS, there's no health-bar or health points. Ur screen turns red when u get shot and after resting a while it goes back to normal. Normally it'll take 3 shots to take u down. This applies to both single player and multiplayer.

While on multiplayer, this game surprisingly does a job better than CS. U get a large variety of guns, grenades and special pump-up called perks. Its all free-of-charge and all u have to do is lvl up and unlock them. There's a large variety of game-mode ranging from team-deathmatch, free-for-all to search & destroy (CS mode). Sniping is unusually challenging , u need to hold ur breath for a steady shot. Knifing is humiliating and fun where a single slash would take down anyone easily and cleanly. Not to mention having airstrike support and heli-support is an additional thrill to the game
Overall, its a 2 thumbs up for this game from infinity ward, the award winning studio of activision.

Er...the reso for the second pic is low and I enlarged it, so originally it looks very pretty and not boxy.

Honestly I can't really find a flaw in the game up until now,however...
since nothing is perfect, it deserves a 9 out of 10
